Easier Sales is made by Easier Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This page says what personal data we hold, why, who else handles it and what you can ask us to do with it. For any question about it, use the contact form.
Who is responsible for what
There are 2 kinds of personal data in Easier Sales, and we have a different role for each.
- Your account. Your name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), sign in history and billing details. We decide how this is used, so we are the controller.
- The people you contact. The names, job titles, companies, LinkedIn profiles, email addresses and messages of the people in your workspace. You decide who is in there and why, so you are the controller and we are your processor. We handle that data only to provide the service to you.
What we hold about you
- Your name and email address, and your Google account's name and email address if you sign in with Google.
- A hash of your password. We cannot read your password and nobody at Easier Marketing can either.
- The country, browser and time of each sign in, kept so we can tell you about a sign in from somewhere new.
- A record of what was done in your workspace and by whom, such as who approved a message.
- What you tell us about your business so drafts can be written for it: your offers, ideal clients, proof and past messages.
We do not hold your LinkedIn password. You connect LinkedIn on a hosted sign in page run by Unipile, and we receive only a reference to that connection.
What we hold about the people you contact
- What their LinkedIn profile shows: name, headline, role, company and location.
- What their company's public website says, read once before a first message, respecting the site's robots.txt.
- The messages between you and them, on LinkedIn and by email.
- Notes you add about them.
If you are one of those people and want to know what a customer of ours holds about you, or want it removed, write to us and we will pass your request to that customer and help them answer it.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you have paid for (performance of a contract).
- To keep accounts secure, for example by counting failed sign ins (our legitimate interest in running a safe service).
- To send emails about your account: confirming your address, resetting a password, a new sign in. We do not send marketing email from the product.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping invoices.
To score people and write drafts, the relevant text is sent to AI models run by the providers listed below.

Where data leaves the UK, it goes under the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent safeguard. We do not sell personal data to anybody.
How long we keep it
- Your workspace and everything in it: for as long as you have an account. When you delete a workspace or an account it is switched off at once and removed after 30 days, in case it was a mistake.
- Sign in links and password reset links: 15 minutes to 1 hour.
- Invoices: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
Cookies
We set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your account. The public pages set none. There is no advertising or tracking cookie anywhere on Easier Sales.
What you can ask for
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it or to move it elsewhere. Use the contact form and we will answer within 1 month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this page
If we change how we use personal data we will change this page and its date, and email every account owner before a change that matters takes effect.
